Tri-Valley: New York-style bagels are coming to Livermore

A brand new bagel and occasional store will bathe the Tri-Valley with what its house owners are calling professional, New York-style bagels when it opens this weekend.

After a a success comfortable opening, Bubbs’ Bagels & Espresso will take over the spot at 1606 Holmes St. in Livermore with a grand opening on Oct. 15. Search for 14 bagels and 10 schmears to start out, with a complete menu, featured at the Bubbs’ web page, that showcases a whopping 30 sorts of steam kettle-boiled bagels, from Rosemary Salt to Chocolate Orange, and greater than 25 schmears, like bacon horseradish and Chocolate Hazelnut Chip. Opening hours shall be 6:30 a.m. to two p.m. Friday-Wednesday.
